This is a project from one of my class which we are going to make a series of album covers for three songs of our choice. The goal is to make a cohesive set of album cover that are supposed to reveal the feeling of the song. The followings are my process towards the final. 

Below is my choice of songs at the very beginning. We started choosing two artist, and three songs for each artist. I interviewed three of my friends to comment on the subject matter, genre, images that came to their mind, tone/feeling of the song, color they think of, arc of the song, words of the song and something else that came up to their mind while listening to those six songs. 

After I decided which artist that I am going to make album covers for, I started sketching my ideas of the cover that I wanted to do for each song. I end up choosing Lorde, which is the artist for "Liability", "Ribs" and "A World Alone". According to my research and interview, those three songs have a similar tone, and the color that came to the interviewer's mind are similar also. I thought this could be a cohesive set.

I decided to use mirrored elements in those album cover, since each song has a great meaning of comparison between two worlds, emotions, or people. So I decided to use this common element between songs.
